Graduate of Falconer Central School, Jamestown Community College, and Bachelor of Science in Management from Houghton College.
Umpired professional baseball in the Minor Leagues for six years. Worked eight and a half years at Jamestown Community College as Director of Athletics at JCC - Cattaraugus Campus and Assistant Director of Athletics at Jamestown Campus. Also coached the golf team and taught as adjunct in Physical Education Department.
Most recently was the Executive Director of Chautauqua Striders from July 2013 to November 2015.
Chautauqua Leadership Network Class of 2014 and employed part-time as a bartender at Moon Brook Country Club since 2008. Ben has volunteered as a youth baseball coach in Falconer Little League system since 2012.
As a testicular cancer survivor since 2004, he is the Founder and President of One Ball Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise awareness about testicular cancer and provide support to those in treatment.
Resides in Falconer with wife Jennifer and their children, Branston and Kennedy.
